
A BBC Proms artist, tenor Ben Johnson has performed & recorded with Graham Johnson, Roger Vignoles, Malcolm Martineau & James Baillieu. Well-known among Europe’s concert halls, he has also performed a wide variety of roles with English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Glyndebourne, Opéra National de Bordeaux, Bergen National Opera & Opéra de Lyon.
Matthew McKinney is a Scottish tenor and graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He has recently recorded Gastone La traviata for OperaGlass Works’ forthcoming film and Rodolfo La bohème on Robin Norton-Hale’s feature produced by Finite Films. In 2022 he sang Damon Acis & Galatea for Ryedale Festival and covered Henrik A Little Night Music for Opera North, having sung the role for Buxton International Festival in 2021. In 2023 he sang Luigino Il viaggio a Reims and Rustighello Lucrezia Borgia in new productions for ETO and will sing with the Glyndebourne Festival in 2024.

Irish tenor Aaron O’Hare transitioned from baritone in 2021. This year he sang Spoletta Tosca for Northern Ireland Opera and will perform Fourth Jew Salome for Irish National Opera in 2024. As an Associate Artist with Welsh National Opera, he sang the title role in Don Giovanni on tour, Stárek Jenůfa and March Hare/White Knight in Will Todd’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. In 2021 he also sang Schaunard La bohème for Northern Ireland Opera and new commission Elsewhere, composed by Michael Gallen and produced in Ireland with support from the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris.
